Not after long, the band broke, and Chake decided to become an independent artist and began performing at clubs, first in Delhi, then in Mumbai. 2016 saw the debut of Bond with Nature by Chake. Bombay Dreams, Chake’s second album, was released in 2019. It has songs in English, Hindi, and Nyishi and is centred on positivism, love, and hope themes. It took him around a year and a half to record and release, while some of the songs featured (Meri Dastan and This is the Day) took eight years to develop. It is inspired by his move to Mumbai in 2018.
