Bal Bharati Public School in Pitampura served as his final educational institution before he enrolled in Delhi Technological University to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. He majored in marketing and finance during his post-graduate studies at the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon, India, and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany. 

He started writing when he was in his final year of college. In 2011, he quit his job as a marketing analyst at American Express and started working as a full-time writer. He was chosen as one of the two young achievers in the field of media and communications by Whistling Woods International in 2011. “Sadda Haq,” his debut program, won the “Youth Show – Fiction” category at the 2014 Zee Gold Awards and the 2014 and 2015 Indian Telly Awards. 

He is married to a travel blogger and ex-flight attendant, Avantika Mohan. He was dating Avantika, and the two got married in 2016. They have two daughters named Rayna and Varya. He resides in Dubai with his wife, daughters, and mother-in-law.
