She initially enrolled in a law program in Mumbai before dropping out and relocating to Le Bouveret, Switzerland, to register in a hospitality and management program at the César Ritz school. She started training at Paris’ Le Cordon Bleu three years later. 

Dhingra returned to Mumbai after completing her degree. She started her first business in March 2010 to bring French-inspired culinary experiences to India. Dhingra expanded her business in 2016 by establishing a new shop in South Mumbai named Le15 Café. The cafe offers modest, savory main course dishes in addition to its famous sweets named after French women. Though at the start, around 2010, she had two employees in Mumbai. She managed to have more than 40 by 2014.
